This is it. If it lasts I see no reason to ever get a new bag. It would be nice if this same bag could be made of cowhide or canvas but this will do and I’m sure it’ll last.

Almost great

The idea is great, but it still has a little ways to go in order to be great. PROS: - It fits tons of things. The first trip I took it on I had: 3 pants, 1 skirt, 3 shorts, 10 shirts, 1 tennis shoes, 1 flip flops, bulky swimsuit, toiletries for a whole month, tons of underwear and socks, a big and thick hammock, and my computer with its case in the specific sompartment and I still wore it in the small size! - I have taken many plane rides in the US and Mexico with it as a carry on in small and "almost medium" size and it has never been an issue. - I love that you can change the size according to what you acquire in your trip and you don't even need to go a full size up. Because of the drawstring, you can stay mid-way the next size. - Looks good. You can use it to many kinds of trips without always looking like going on a hike. - It has gotten quite dusty but I just pat it and it is clean again. TO IMPROVE: - The backpack straps are too stiff. It hurts to carry it as a backpack, but the B3 can only be a backpack, so... I'm stuck with it. I've brought it on flights, on hikes, etc and still it has not soften at all. I still hope it can soften even if it takes a whole year for it. I can't even scratch my head while wearing it because I can't reach my head with it on due to how stiff it is. TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: - There are other backpacks that, although don't look as nice as the B3, they can still manage different sizes and are comfortable to carry, plus their belts have extra carrying space (about 10-15 lbs on belt) - If you use packing cubes, use the long shaped ones or the small squares. The big squares will waste space in a round shapped bag. - You need to take the belt off in most airplanes in order to fit it in the overhead compartment. - If you need to check it for a flight, you need to wrap the backpack so the strings don't get tangled and ruined in the belts. - If you want to use it as a day backpack, just take into account that even in the small size and with the straps tightened it still is super big.

Very convenient!

I’m very happy using on my trip to Europe. I’m using right now as a small backpack but on my return expect to use the big size. Very good quality and clean design!

Really interesting concept

I haven’t used mine in the field yet, but am looking forward to it. It feels like a well made and super functional bag. I have spotted a few things that should be improved on based on my first inspection. The inside lining will absolutely be getting stuck in the zipper. The inside fabric is loose and not held back where its sewn. Also the magnetic tie holds don’t really hold the ties down. I would have went with another option. Overall, I believe this bag will be a solid addition to the collection.

Flexible with your growing needs

I got my B3 as part of the Kickstarter campaign. I already own the A10 from the first Kickstarter project and was happy with it. But I like that backpack very much. The small size is compact and holds already all the stuff needed for a week trip. The pocket for the laptop has sufficient space for the sizes all of my laptops. There are a lot of other pockets available for power cords and documents including one within the main bag. The inner part of the main bag is very flexible. You can leave the cords zipped and if you need only a little more space you can push the fabric out and get little by little more space. If you need all pull of the cord and push out all of the fabric. Then the bag becomes very spacious. But the best part is the straps. They feel at first glance very hard and not as soft as expected. But while wearing the bag it feels a lot more comfortable than soft straps. Because the weight of the backpack will spread better on your shoulder. I tend to get red marks wearing a backpack (at least heavy ones) on the shoulder but with the B3 I got nothing at all in the weeks using the backpack. The last but not least point is the design which is business suitable and does not need to hide behind other business luggage. I am really happy with the B3 and can recommend everyone to not wait longer to make the travel experience so much better... ;-)
